Banana Silk Balls

Banana silk is made from the stalks and leaves of the banana tree. From the cultivation of these plant materials comes a long, fine but lustrous fibre that is hand spun into yarn. Banana silks have a silky sheen but are tough and versatile.
 
This yarn is fair trade product, hand spun in Nepal.
 Sold by weight, approx. 55m/ 100g or 275m/ 500g
