Freeform Crochet Workshop - April 18th
Freeform crochet workshop using rope as a medium introduces an exciting twist to traditional crochet techniques. Working with rope opens up new possibilities for texture and structure in your crochet creations. It's a chance to unleash your creativity and create one-of-a-kind pieces that are as functional as they are beautiful.
This technique can be used for a range of projects, from small decorative items like coasters, plant hangers to larger functional pieces like baskets, bags, or even cushion covers.
This is not a suitable workshop for new beginners, some crochet experience is required. Participants need to be able to work a range of crochet stitches including sl st, dc, htr, tr and dtr. As well as an understanding of creating increases and willing to learn to work without a pattern.
All participants will begin working on the same piece, this is approximately the size of a coaster. Once the basic techniques have been worked, participates are free to explore their own creativity and develop their own freeform piece.

- How to work to a flat shape using a template
- How to work a starting coil using rope
- How to work decorative stitch rows between the rope
- How to leave gaps and rejoin rope to work
- How to turn work using rope
- How to secure the rope to finish
- Canvas bag for your project.
- 1 x 50g/110m Ball Morning Salutation 51% Lyocell (Tencel TM)/49% Cotton
- 6m x 5mm braided cotton rope
- Stitch markers.
- Darning needle
- PDF Crochet handbook.

Workshop size if kept small to 8 students, this maximises one on one time.
Thursaday Evening - 5pm - 9pm
Full payment is required prior to the start of the class to confirm your spot.

Cancellations can be made 5 days before the first class for a full refund. Please contact us via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cancellations made 5 days to 24hrs, before the first class, we will offer a credit for a later date. A refund cannot be offered unless another person is able to fill your spot.
Cancellations less than 24hrs before the first class- no refund or credit available.
Classes require a minimum of 3 people to go ahead. If the minimum nuber isn't reached, we'll notify you 4 days before the first class. You will have the option to reschedule to the next course available or receive a full refund.
Once a course has commenced no new bookings can be taken. Please have a look at other dates offered.
