Hemp is a natural, considered to be the strongest fibre amongst other natural fibres, making it a durable fibre for many projects. Hemp fibres are chemical free and eco friendly and contain antibacterial properties. Like Nettle, it requires little water or protection from pests and diseases to grow making it environmentally friendly
 
This yarn is fair trade product, hand spun in Nepal.
